Mark & Corinne Wilson
Mark is the son of William and Donna Wilson of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He graduated from Manhattan Christian College in 1990. He spent time in Europe as a child while his father was in the Air Force.Corinne is the daughter of Garland and Dorothy Bare of Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from Cincinnati Bible College in 1992. She grew up in Thailand, where her parents were missionaries.
We met at Nebraska Christian College and married in 1977. Mark served in the U.S. Air Force for nine years—three of them in Germany. Our son, Liam was born in Germany in 1982, and our daughter, Desiree was born in Nebraska in 1985.
In 2002 we learned of the opportunity to partner with German pastors in planting congregations after the New Testament model. We have spent about 10 months in Germany, learning German language and culture, helping out at Kontaktmission headquarters, assessing outreach methods currently being tried in Germany and exploring sites for future church planting. We are currently back in the U.S.A. raising more support so that we can return to Germany in the spring of 2008 to work with German church planter Dirk Staudinger in the largely unevangelized Eifel region of Germany.
